What are the requirements for biochemical testing and fire control in the laboratory?

In fact, many raw materials are flammable and explosive, so it is very important to do a good job of fire prevention and protection. Today to teach you how to do a good laboratory fire prevention measures.

Fire-proof requirements for plane layout(Huibai reagent: http://www.hnhbsj.com)
(1) Alcohol, ether, benzene, sodium azide and picric acid used in biochemical laboratory or laboratory are flammable and explosive dangerous goods. Therefore, these laboratories should be arranged on one side of the building. The door should be located on the outside so that it can be evacuated and rescued quickly in the event of an accident. The biochemical laboratory and laboratory should not be located in the crowded area, or in the main passageway of the building, boiler room, liquefied petroleum gas storage room and so on.
(2) the layout inside the room should be reasonable. The reagents cabinet should be placed in the corner of the room where it is not easy for people to enter and operate; the mechanical equipment should be located at the other corner away from the reagent and the influence of the wind direction and sunlight of natural ventilation should be taken into account. Reagents should be located in the laboratory closet cool, not close to the south window, lest direct sunlight.
(3) the laboratory must be well ventilated, and there should be windows on both sides of the laboratory. The best way is to make the natural ventilation become a stable advection in the room, reduce the dead angle, and make the operation toxic and flammable substances can be discharged in time. Consideration should also be given to keeping the gas from the room from flowing into a crowded room.

2. Fire resistance requirements for storage and storage of reagents
(1) flammable liquids such as ethanol, methanol, acetone and benzene should be placed in the bottom shade of the reagent cabinet in order to prevent the liquid from flowing down when the container is leaking and to react with the following reagents. Potassium permanganate, potassium dichromate and other oxidants and flammable organic matter must be isolated storage, not mixed. Ether can produce explosive peroxides when exposed to sunlight. Such reagents should be stored in the dark.
(2) unspent ether after opening shall not be stored in ordinary refrigerator. Because of the volatilization of ether vapor, the electric spark in the refrigerator will explode.
(3) Sodium azide, which is widely used as a preservative, is more stable than lead azide and so on. The packed sodium azide should be placed in the yellow sand bucket, the counter, storage as smooth as possible, double lock. Picric acid explosive, should be mixed into a solution after storage, and avoid touching metal, lest the formation of more sensitive picrate. All articles with sodium azide or picric acid should be thoroughly cleaned and should not be littered.
(4) the label of the reagent must be complete and clear and can be waxed on the label. In case the label falls off, it should be taken out and not used without confirmation, so as to prevent the occurrence of abnormal reaction after the mistake and cause danger.
(5) the reagents should be kept and cleaned regularly.
(6) if the amount of ethanol is high, it can not be treated as reagent, and it should not be stored with reagent. It is better not to store it in laboratory.

3. Other fire protection requirements(Huibai reagent: http://www.hnhbsj.com)
(1) easily decomposed reagents or strong oxidants (such as perchloric acid) are explosive or punched when heated. Be careful, it is best to operate in the ventilation closet.
(2) after each experiment operation, the flammable and dramatic drugs shall be returned to the original place immediately, the cupboard shall be preserved and shall not be stored on the laboratory bench.
(3) Electrical equipment in laboratory shall be installed and checked regularly to prevent abnormal conditions such as leakage, short speed, overload and so on.
(4) all ovens and other heaters shall not be placed directly on the wooden terrace, and there shall be bricks and cushions of insulating material, such as stone and cotton slabs, between the iron and wooden stands of the oven.

The material comes from the network.
